In 2018 Trail Running Nepal succeeded in securing enough funds to send 7 runners (3 ladies a 4 men) to 2018 Trail World Championships held during Penyagolosa Trails in Spain.
Four members of AWOO Team Nepal from 2017 Oxfam Trailwalker Hong Kong – Purna Tamang, Bed Sunuwar, Samir Tamang and Tirtha Tamang – and joining them Manikala Rai, Chee Chee Sherpa and Rojina Bandari were all the members of Nepalese national team.
AWOO sponsored the team kit for the Team Nepal. The design was based on on the look of the 2017-2018 AWOO Team Nepal kit, with the changes required to meet the IAAF regulartions.
The team kit for the runners and their support team included trail running jersey, team tee, elastic shorts and jacket. The whole team also received our Beauty of Nepal cap.
